How do your rate the most compassionate, caring, furbaby physician. How do you rate a physician who reaches and takes your hand when the time comes when you have to make that heartbreaking decision. You can’t, you have to experience knowing your baby is in the best care with Dr. Leeman. We rescued our golden retriever, Rudy who was in very bad shape, a hot mess, Dr. Leeman was with us from day 1, up until it was time for Rudy to go to the bridge, he saw Rudy through a lot. We had 4 wonderful years with our boy because of the wonderful care he had, and no words can express how grateful we are. Rudy loved Dr. Leeman, you can say he trusted him with his life. We met Dr. Leeman five years ago when Spanky, one of our beagles, had vertigo. At that point we had tried 2 rounds of treatment and were facing the possibility of a more dire prognosis. Dr. Leeman offered us options for the best path forward, while showing great compassion for Spanky and us. Luckily Spanky recovered, and we knew we had found a great partner for the care of our beloved dogs. Every time we see Dr. Leeman we know that he will be thorough and present us with clear options in a treatment program. I have to say though, that we are equally appreciative of his kindness and compassion through some of our most difficult moments. It is impossible to put into words how much that has meant to us. I met Dr. Leeman when I moved to Charleston, 7 years ago, and is one of the best vets you will ever meet. He is so honest, humble and is willing to go above and beyond for his clients. We’ve had other vets in the past but since we found Doctor Leeman we have not found a better vet. We have been served by other vets and no one comes as close to the vast wealth of knowledge and compassion that he has. He makes you feel your furbaby is the only one he is focused on and he recognizes you by face immediately. He truly goes above and beyond the call of duty and we have followed him from West Ashley to Folly Road and now Mt. Pleasant. I will not have any other vet for my furbabies, ever!
